Tuesday

Not a particularly happy day. Once again, banging on my piano most of the day, still can't get it right. Finally got my Nanyang Poly package, found out I had tons and tons of paperwork to do...Went to piano class at 5 pm, found out about the Nicoll Highway collapse. Wasn't too perturbed. Things like that can only happen under the will of the Lord. We can't do anything about it, and, in time, we'll know what the Lord has planned through this event. Anyway, piano class wasn't THAT bad...until I played the piece that I forgot to practise...It plain slipped my mind. It was embarrasing at best...Anyway, after that, had dinner at Jack's Place. Got lectured by my parents because I told them shorts were allowed in NYP...then got lectured back home because I wanted to upgrade my MSN Messenger...My parents want me to go to the gym...WHEN? DO I LOOK LIKE I HAVE TIME??? Ah well, things can only get better tomorrow...Lots of changes for the next few days. Thursday's SMC AY Band Prac cancelled, Friday now have A Capella Prac, and I'm going to get XL size shorts for my jersey instead of M. What a mess.

Lord, I submit to you...your will...in your time...by your ways...I will follow you...

I Know Who Holds Tomorrow

I don't know about tomorrow;
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to grey.
I don't worry o'er the future,
For I know what Jesus said.
And today I'll walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.

Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.

Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb;
Every burden's getting lighter,
Every cloud is silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining,
There no tear will dim the eye;
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky.

I don't know about tomorrow;
It may bring me poverty.
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
Is the one who stands by me.
And the path that is my portion
May be through the flame or flood;
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood.
